About Heritage Pizza Flour
Our Heritage Pizza Flour is a blend of Heritage White Flour and ultra-fine Heritage Whole Wheat Flour. It was developed as a nutritious alternative to traditional Italian 00 flour. This exceptional pizza flour makes a stretchy, chewy pizza crust and has been used by professional pizza makers and home cooks alike. It can also be used for bread baking and in recipes in which you want to have a slight whole wheat twist. The flavor is so great that pizzas need fewer toppings.
Many people with gluten intolerance find our organic Heritage Pizza Flour more digestible than flour made with modern hybridized wheat.

What is Heritage wheat?
Heritage wheat was the predominant wheat grown in America up until the 1950’s. Many people find it more digestible than modern wheat. Its long deep root system allowed it to survive the Dust Bowl, and gave the Midwest its famous nickname “The Bread Basket”. Heritage wheat was a staple in every household. The history of it can be tracked to biblical times and has been responsible for nourishing generations. It was grown before the introduction of intensive scientific plant breeding.This wheat is experiencing a resurgence.

Your subscription will automatically renew on a recurring basis at which time your credit card will be charged automatically for the subscription products until you cancel your subscription. Taxes and shipping fees may apply. You may cancel your subscription at any time, before your order ships, from the Subscriptions section of your account.
How to create a subscription
Simply find the products you want to order on subscription and select "Subscribe and save", then choose the frequency for delivery 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or 120 days. Finally add the product to your cart and proceed to checkout. You can add as many products as you like to your subscription.
How to manage your subscription
To manage your subscription login in to your Sunrise account and you will have tools to adjust, pause or cancel your subscriptions.

The only flour to use.
I started out baking yeast bread only. Now, after my second try at making the Sunrise starter, sourdough is the only way I bake. My main baking is sourdough sandwich loaf and sourdough bagels. The bagels are for my daughter. I make sourdough toast every morning for myself and the taste is heavenly. I use the AP flour with 20% whole wheat. The pizza flour is the greatest, with a successful and tasty pizza every time. I make the shells, pre-bake them at 450 for 7 minutes and then freeze them. I've recently started using sourdough starter in baking deserts. It adds a unique flavor to cookies.

Best Pizza Crust Evs!
I've never made home made pizza crust before but this flour made it easy and oh sooooo good! My husband who is a certified pizza critic loved the pizza! I made three dough balls and froze two so I can just pull a ready to thaw and use pizza crust out of the freezer anytime. Best part about it is you can enjoy healthy pizza without it sitting so heavy in your stomach! Delicious! Give it a try!
Tastes like childhood
This flour tastes just like flour did when I was a kid. Makes the tastiest pancakes and biscuits. It has what we used to call “tooth”. It also does not impact my system badly like other flour. Never makes me tired, or hurts my stomach. I will not go back to whatever that was I was using!

Usually I get terrible heartburn within 10 minutes of eating bread, even bread that is homemade. I get no heartburn after eating this. I even had my mom try it to see if it was a fluke since she has the same issue. She also didn’t get heartburn! I’m blown away, and also a little worried what must be in our typical flour…
