What is Heritage wheat?
Heritage Wheat-The Way Wheat Used to Be:
Heritage wheat was the predominant wheat grown in America up until the 1950’s. Many people find it more digestible than modern wheat. Its long deep root system allowed it to survive the Dust Bowl, and gave the Midwest its famous nickname “The Bread Basket”. Heritage wheat was a staple in every household. The history of it can be tracked to biblical times and has been responsible for nourishing generations. It was grown before the introduction of intensive scientific plant breeding.This wheat is experiencing a resurgence.

Sunrise Flour Mill provides an easy subscription service to order our products. Your subscription will automatically renew on a recurring basis at which time your credit card will be charged automatically for the subscription products until you cancel your subscription. Taxes and shipping fees may apply. You may cancel your subscription at any time, before your order ships, from the Subscriptions section of your account.
How to create a subscription
Simply find the products you want to order on subscription and select "Subscribe and save", then choose the frequency for delivery 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or 120 days. Finally add the product to your cart and proceed to checkout. You can add as many products as you like to your subscription.
How to manage your subscription
To manage your subscription login in to your Sunrise account and you will have tools to adjust, pause or cancel your subscriptions.

Sunrise flour
I have found that sunrise flour is easier to digest. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid and Psoriatic arthritis. Bread and goods baked using Sunrise flour does not aggravate my immune system like common flour does. The taste is also excellent/

An Excellent Cereal for Breakfast and for Bread (Machine) Recipe
I use the Sunrise Organic 7-Grain Cereal for a hot cereal family breakfast topped with a little maple syrup. Cooking the cereal takes a bit of time and it can get sticky, but that is to be expected. I also use the Sunrise Organic 7-Grain Cereal (uncooked) in a Whole Grain Bread Machine recipe. The Sunrise Organic 7-Grain Cereal makes for a healthy and crunchy loaf of delicious bread. Our family loves this product. And yes, we use Sunrise Heritage Bread Blend Flour in our bread machine breads.

Best Hot Breakfast Cereal
We love this cereal. Now instead of grits we make these and top with butter, cheese, fried eggs and sometimes some meat. Way better that traditional grits. We of course like them with butter, honey, walnuts, cinnamon and a banana.

Delicious and nutritious
Ok so this is genuine, grainy, wholesome goodness that for once with breakfast cereals is not sweetened. It’s quick to cook and utterly delicious. Add berries, nuts, yoghurt and or honey and you’ve got a genuinely great get up and go breakfast.

Organic 7-Grain Cereal Mix
I absolutely love it and this is my second order. The flavor is so nuanced and it’s a joy to eat. I’m not overly fond of hot cereals and only eat them occasionally but this one is exceptional. I have served it to several family members and friends and everyone of them have also loved it. I always make a full batch and reheat the left over which tastes just as delicious as the first day. Maple syrup and Everything Nice spices by Burlap & Barrel just bring out even more of this yummy flavor. It is a delight to eat and savor.

I love this organic 7 grain cereal and use it as a breakfast or even dinner option. My kids love it too! I always feel like I’m giving my kids a safe, nutritious, organic option when I use Sunrise products.
