½ Cup Heritage Whole Wheat Pastry Flour or Heritage Whole Wheat Flour
2 Cups whole milk
¼ tsp salt
Mix the three ingredients in a pan and let sit overnight in the fridge.
When ready to cook, put the pan on a burner set low. Milk has a tendency to burn.
Stir constantly until the thickness you desire.. It thickens first on the bottom of the pan.
Remove the pan from the heat. If you leave it for a few minutes it will continue to thicken.
Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
Go crazy with your toppings - whatever sounds good that day. I added blueberries, raspberries, bananas, nuts….not all at once but whatever I had on hand or that sounded good.
